In the morning Mike and I went running then got juice from Wild Beets. Everyone headed to the Salinas beach and got a bed at Jockey Club. Rachael and I went shopping at the boutique near the beach. On the face of it Ibiza looks like every other Spanish Port we've visited. Lots of yachts, high rise apartment blocks and scruffy older buildings. There is an old building on the top of a hill over looking the port which is a church, or a hotel, or a fortress - it's really not clear. We are, aparantly, in the township of Sant Jordi. ... As we approached there was nothing but sail and motor boats in the cove - it was crowded. We picked our spot in slightly deeper water and then proceeded to celebrate – well and truly in the Med, in the Bealerics and now in the Eastern hemisphere!!! Any reason to drink bubbles.
