    Therese and I are so excited for our much anticipated trip to begin. The extended Germani family had many great suggestions for us at Elena's Graduation party on Saturday. It will be a long journey traveling, we will arrive in Rome in about 17 hours from takeoff. After much planning and worrying I can't believe it's actually here!     ... and burgers, what a day! Upon arrival to San Francisco, we were so tired but we still had to deal with the ripped bag. The baggage desk for United didn't have another collapsible duffel bag so we chose the $50 voucher instead. It ended up being too late for us to take the BART home so ended our day in a cab, too. That was a good choice because we were both counting the minutes until we could get in bed. Wow, time traveling is hard ...
