... Hansen etc.) colorful restaurants and bars. The only downside was that due to ''extreme'' snow conditions we couldn't take the Mont Blanc train nor could we see the Montenvers Mer de Glace.
To sum up, I must say I wouldn't recommend Chamonix as a must-see but it's a nice town to spend a few days but definitely not the best place for skiing. ...

Life in Switzerland is very good. I understand now why Switzerland is a neutral country. With constant scenery of rolling green fields with pretty flowers, mountains and crystal clear water it hard not to feel very serene and peaceful. Even the cows with their cow bells (so cute) look happy and mellow.

Monterux is a laid back town. Plenty of beautiful hotels, houses and gardens with a beautiful walking track alongside Lake Geneva. ...
