    ... dissertation research on documentation and the movement Reconocido with the fantastic help of Telemin. It has been extremely interesting to learn directly from those living here about the issues which they have to deal with on a daily basis.     We walked to the place we will be having lunch each day, and everyone ate well.

    After almuerzo, we went back to the school where we were to paint the interior classrooms. They were very basic one room buildings with with desks and workbooks.     ... during our visit to the community coffee bean processor. At the processor we saw the beginning portion of the coffee production process. The machine essentially takes the fruit off of the bean/shell and separates "good" and “bad” beans. The process involves a lot of drying time, and takes about 10 days to produce 20 pounds of coffee. Drying time is also completely dependent on the sun, and the absence of rain.
