... turn signals, it is this constant drifting into my lane, this infringement into my driving space, that spooks me most. Motorcyclists take certain lines and to avoid the gravel that is usually more prevalent on the edge, I often gravitate towards the center but you have to be very careful with that tactic on the curvy mountain roads of Mexico because you will very likely come face to face or bike to massive truck ...

Devil's Spine

A few interesting things regarding the last couple of weeks to chat about perhaps but right now I am super excited about a ride I'm about to go on. Unlike the teachers in the elementary schools we saw last week where they were still studying to become teachers, the teachers here ...

After the church, we got to go into a castle-like building that had Diego Rivera murals painted on the walls. The were absolutely breathtaking to look at! One thing that totally shocked me about Mexico City was how many people were walking ...

My time there was a nice step change from my recent travels and I've rarely felt more welcomed. I had been invited to stay with the lovely Liliana, who I'd met back in Merida, at the start of December. We'd hit it off spending a day together on a tour followed by a fun night on the tiles. Liliana had then very kindly extended an invitation ...
