... us go. Good. We are in a small village, newly built it seems, called Avrieux http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avrieux , approx 1150m above sea level. Our accommodation is great, views even better. ... we found a camp site. After that we went to the sea and skimmed rocks in the water. I skimmed 4 but I wasn't trying to get my highest. My highest is 8 or 9. Then we walked on a random dirt track then ended up on a mini race track. There were fast cars and slow and a half of a helicopter and space ship. On the way back we saw a poppy growing in the grass. ... the tractor would not be available until Monday morning. So it was another day sitting inside with the rain lashing down and another night sleeping at a rather weird angle. At least we made use of the showers – which were of course solar heated so barely lukewarm!
