So the Cancun entry will be a very short one!

As mentioned we had had a little wander and lunch in Downtown Cancun before heading over Isla Mujeres, but then fell so in love with the island we decided not to bother with expensive Cancun and spend our last days there instead. There are a few ferries that go to the island at different times but the plan was for everyone to meet at a hotel on the island at 9.30am. Our local ferry leaves ten past every hour and the crossing takes about twenty minutes. The ferry was late leaving and it was packed and rowdy, mainly due to a baseball team making the trip for a game. We got to ...

... made him a new person. My personal experience is that people tend to change much more slowly than this, virtually imperceptibly to themselves until a day comes when they decide to reflect on how they have changed over a much longer period of time. We whacked our food in the hostel fridge, wished each other goodnight, and agreed to meet for breakfast the next morning before departing for Chichén Itzá.
