We landed in Libreville, Gabon to let some passengers off and to pick up some others. After all the departing passengers got off the plane, the flight attendants verified the owner of each carry-on bag in the overhead bins. Each of us had to claim our bags. This took several minutes but was a good security measure. Then they sprayed the plane for mosquitos. They reassured us that this spray was not harmful to us. How does it kill mosquitos, then? Returning to Lagos

All in all, Mr. Akinbo, Mr. Mickelson, Yemisi Ibirogba and myself traveled through seven states of *****ia on our trip: Lagos, Ondo, Edo, Delta, Anambra, IMO, Abia.

We will remain in Lagos until Friday, and then make the trip to the Republic of Benin for the Sabbath.

... everyone sang out in the full voice and increased tempo that seems unique to this area.

The service consisted of two split sermons. I spoke on the concept of pride vs. humility and the example of service that Christ set for us all. Mr. Mickelson spoke on the life of Sampson and the lessons we can learn of repentance and seeking God's perfect will to be done in our lives.

The fellowship following services was full of hugs ...

... few taxi cars. The woman at the ABC Transport office had told me it should cost N 150 (92 cents) for an motorcycle ride to Bar Beach on neighboring Victoria Island (which is not actually an island but the end of a long peninsula). The driver asked for 200 ($1.23). Fair enough. Let’s go.

This was the first time I’ve ridden on a motorcycle in numerous years. I can’t even recall the last time I’ve been on a motorcycle. I wasn’t exactly comfortable ...
