... Then up the funicular to the mountain overlooking Como, not happy with view at that height we decide to walk up to the lighthouse. Snow covered following last weeks cold blast we make our way up - a long way - finally arriving at 'the lighthouse'. The view was spectacular, well the view as best it can be here with quite dense haze/smog. We could see the water but sadly the Swiss Alps, whilst could be seen, were blurry. (Switzerland is ...

We arrived in this beautiful city at dusk so we weren't able to get the most out of it. They just kept saying 'oh! pizza ohno' and making spinning pizza gestures (I think it means pizza chef). There is also an Australian staying in the town as a au-pair and she came too and tried to translate a bit. The family mostly cant speak any English other than the daughter who ...

... really our first early night, other nights I've been to tired to blog. Meghan had her "worst pajama post card experience ever" tonight - she did her routine nightly delivery of postcards to the front desk (usually done in her cute moose pjs) and there was an arriving tour group of loud American boys and couples dressed to the 9s headed out to eat and no one attending the front desk. She felt very awkward and ...
