Thankfully we both had a good night's sleep and woke just before 7. Breakfast ,in a lovely stone ceiling dining room was modest but very enjoyable. After breakfast we did some internet stuff and tried in vain to get my phone working. it was after 9 before we left and walked to the Basilica of St. Clare ( Basilica di Santa Chiara ).
