      We woke up to a beautiful vista from our balcony that overlooked the valley towards to sea. San Marino has a population of 30 000 and is tax free. At the very top is a walled city and our hotel was just outside the wall. It also has 3 enclosed forts that look spectacular lit up at night as well as during the daylight.       Here we had a few days by the sea and spent time with friends, had great food and wine, slept in a tent for a change. The weather was good. From here we went to the Po delta got bitten at least 20 times by some aggressive mosquito's. Ate on the roadside a good meal in a diner. And made our way up to the Garda lake.
