... of headstones for hundreds of meters. Back into Ypres for the nightly Last Post ceremony. 8pm every night for 90 years the locals have conducted this service. We arrive just before 7 and get front row positions. About 2000 people at this service tonight. An amazingly moving ceremony. Back to hotel at 9.30, out for a quick dinner and back to our hotel for bed. We are off to Pozieres tomorrow for 4 days. Unsure of wifi access there so you may not hear from us for a few ...

So at the end of last month Dan had a brief encounter with the French, who weren't nearly as smelly or arrogant as advertised (je suis desole to all our French viewers) to see the mighty Icelanders that are Sigur Ros. ... there to catsit for her daughter who was away. There are three cats, a Maine Coon - whose breed I am very familiar with (ahem), a Persian and a Heinz 57. I have never seen such a big Maine Coon; it is much bigger than Kitty! The others were such cuties too.

On Monday, I made my way outside for another morning run. Afterwards, Dad and I borrowed Aunty Joestte's little car and made our way back to Ypres, so I could check ...
