    ... where the attendant wasn't on a productivity bonus because all the other booths were clearing there queues at the rate of 4 to every one of ours!!

    Anyway, onto the ferry and onwards to France. The trip took about 90 minutes and then we were in Calais.

    Courtesy of Gilly's errant Satnav we had an unscheduled tour of Calais. Lots of refugees were hanging about the ferry terminal and wandering aimlessly around the town. The best ...

    ... booked for the next 4 years because of the 100 anniversary.....I got lucky I got what I got it would appear. No worries....typical European room...small and the bathroom is larger than the bedroom...seems consistent. My more immediate concern is ....where am I going today LOL

    My first plan is to go see the In Flanders Museum in Ieper, that's easy....its the rest. So I had me typical European breakfast....with beans...whats up with that...English ...
