    ... after mile after mile of an irrigated hybrid poplar tree farm in the high desert -- apparently these hybrid trees make wonderful white hardwood lumber. And the vast wheat farms, also in the irrigated high desert, were in the process of being harvested -- doesn't the song "America, the Beautiful" say something about "Amber waves of grain"? We are staying in a small state park, only 19 RV ...

    ... planes have done several cross country events over the past 10 year... With awards and stickers to show their attendance of the events... There is a Wright Brothers plane, a 1912 Curtiss Pusher, Several Piper Cubs, the Boeing mentioned above... and many, many more... This is a MUST SEE for any of you that are in the Hood River area.

    ... but I do think they are neutral and lovely! Scott is so wonderful. He is a wonderful cook, too. We used iron skillets that dated back from the 1920's. I am always in awe of how well made and high quality older things are. Today everything is done faster- and faster is not done with care in mind. Faster is done with bulk and money in mind.
