I would recommend this hotel / apartment to anyone! We were stunned when we walked inside, it is simply beautiful and so big that we could easily live in here!

The beds are comfortable, tv great, and kitchen very user friendly. The staff are wonderful, and I just can't rave enough about how wonderful this resort is....

Don't go past it when planning your trip to the Gold Coast!

... floats with dancers and singers, cars and motor bikes, life savers (in their 60’s costumes) and celebrities like FJ Holden, Wilbur Wilde, Izy Dye, Denise Drysdale just to name a few. Watching the dancers you could only wish that we had learnt to dance that way. Craig loved seeing the cars and appreciated just how much work had gone into them.

... on the bike and continue on for a bit more to see what I could find. Kyogle road follows the tweed river towards Murwillumbah. This was another great bike road with twists and turns and fantastic views. Filled up at Murwillumbah, but it was still to early to stop for the day so set off towards Tumbulgum, a rather wealthy looking area on towards Tweed heads, just this side of the QLD border. I thought I'd try and stay in NSW for tonight then cross over ...

The journey back to Brisbane went ok but on the way through we got just a wee bit lost. After asking a gentleman in a furniture shop we were back on the right road and were soon approaching Coronation Drive which runs along the Brisbane River. There were roadworks and we turned right when the lights changed and soon found out we were on our way to Ipswich. I knew this was wrong as we were heading inland, so we stopped to ask a gardener for directions. Of course we should have turned left ...

... a fun night, the kids had hotdogs and got to watch some movies while the adults chatted over some delicious lasagna. The little boys went skinny dipping much to their delight and their sisters horror. It was a great night. Sad to say goodbye but know it is not forever. We then drove down the coast to Stockport, kids slept on the way and crashed into bed when we got in. Unpacked and ...

So much to do! So much work...

This past week I worked 43 hours, my goodness I am tired! Definitely ready for a break. I really liked getting all the hours but the feet definitely get sore from standing that long.

Friday - Friday, although nothing much happened turned out to be a big day as I was made a supervisor at work! What does that mean? Well, basically I'm the manager now at work when Ricardo, Mr. Boss man isn't there so hopefully a pay ...
