A little town by the name of Villes-sur-Auzon was the one that we chose, and after arriving in the small town, it still took a little bit of hunting to find the campsite!

But when we did we were very happy - one of the more quiet campsites so far, yet not overly so, and with good facilities. We got a nice big site with plenty of room to park ...

... the Nocturne des Montagnac (every Tuesday in the summer). We decided to have a drink and people watch and just before we left, they started shooting off fireworks. They call it the ‘Light Up the Church’. The fireworks are launched off of and around the medieval church built about 800 years ago. Everyone was crowded into the little square
in front of the church to take it in and it was quite neat to ...

... the outside of the wall looking for the bus stop for the bus to St Remy. We found it just where the lady at the information centre told us it was. We then walked back through the wall and up Rue St Michael to the shops and stopped for a filled roll for lunch. After lunch we walked to the Pont d'Avignon. We paid to go up on the bridge and had a good look around it and listened to the audio guide. Then we walked back through town and went to the patisserie ...
