Denby has been making pottery near Derby for over 200 years. As well as the factory they have a group of shops around there and also "Pottery Beach" - an overgrown sandpit for kids to play in. We explored the shops and then it was time for the craft tour - not the full factory that ...

... than a few minutes it felt like loosing a hand or something. He headed towards the underground, glimpsing the last of his face through the lift doors, we turned and headed for the carpark.

Up the motorway, before arriving at the familiar roads, turning into a particularly familiar one, the garden, mum, hugs, the squealing barking wriggling dog, the smells, the house, home.
