... you were not completely visible when changing. Then headed down to the beach (again made of rocks) to go swimming. When I was done parking the van, I found Laura, Sam and Blake out hanging out on a floating pontoon in the deeper water. They were near the floating playhouse - inflatable slides, bouncing pad, etc - that had inspired interest when we first arrived. We packed up and headed out on a shorter drive this morning - this time the end destination is the Adriatic coast, but first Laura found a castle that hits all the right notes in the guidebook so we are going to stop there on the way. ... heavily fortified. I can imagine a maze of tunnels and passageways in the caves behind the castle. It would have been difficult for any enemy to invade the place.

The next stop was the Skocjan Caves. Although it is not as famous as the Postojna Caves, reviews from the internet claims that the Skocjan Caves were less touristy and were in fact a better option to see. I was not disappointed. The ...

A successful launch on Thursday and sails back on. before the rain came in. Boat just becoming ship shape on Friday and everything tucked away when final checks on instruments made us realise there was no speedo. A quick check identified we had to run a new cable - easier said than done!!! 4 hours later we had removed every panel, cushion and floor ...
