... it was mine and Cathy’s turn to do the walk on the
beach. It was lovely. We found a small art gallery on the sand where a pair of
brothers displayed their works. They were very impressive and unbelievably
cheap, so we bought one representative of our trip to hang in our lounge room
          back home.

They also had a collection of good quality ebony animal
          statuettes of ...

          ... t I? I just loved doing

It was so nice to just chill with my love, talking about our
future, our plans and what we expect from life. We played darts, drank
cocktails, listened to Bob Marley, went to the beach, danced around and most
important, just enjoyed the life right in that moment.

The next day, we had booked a tour in Jozani forest to see
the red monkeys. We just loved it, even if it was so hot and humid there. We
          barely support it. ...

... ended with a demonstration of how they collected coconuts from the tree. One of the crazy guys from the plantation, who was absolutely ripped, climbed the huge tree whilst singing an amusing Swahili song and at some points stopping to twerk on the tree and do some impressive tricks. He returned us some coconuts which he cut open for us to drink, he then used them to carve a spoon so we could enjoy the inside. We had a great time although ...

... out on the balcony and watch the sunset with a cocktail!

The next day, was another early one! Not as early though! We were heading off to the spice tour and slave caves. The spice tour was fascinating; we were taken to a plantation where they grew all the main spices that Zanzibar are known for. we collected them in a banana leaf and tried some of the fruits, such as star fruit! There was one that I particularly enjoyed, which wasn't edible, but was used as a red hair ...

... story to 10 different people :) Must-do in Zanzibar!!!

After arrival in Paje we started looking for a place to stay. As usual we were being followed by local guys. We went to several different resorts or hostels, quoted in all of them and finally decided to stay in quite a cool hostel called Original Teddy´s Place. The hostel was located directly on the beach. It provided a great view of the Indian Ocean. It was very calm and empty.

          There was another ...
