This is how the french eat their meat, i felt bad but there was no way i could eat it like that. When they brought it back it was still really raw and so he took it back again and this time when i got it back they had taken the meat of the skewer and ...

... 8217;s getting late into the Fall. However wonderful it is, the heavy evening dews may actually be worse than England’s rain for putting away a tent. Completely wet inside from condensation in the cool night air, as well as wet outside from the dew, we are always packing a soaked tent. That and the mosquitos are ever-present again. Just had to add a few negatives so all my Canadian friends burried under snow don't get too jealous ;)
... nice because I hadn't seen him in a while. Clement is the closest thing I have to a real childhood friend (sorry Tim, but we met when we were 12 so you are my real teenagehood friend, okay?) from elementary school. His father owns a restaurant in town so we'd have a blast eating and drinking there for free. We caught up on so much lost time and reminsced about the things we'd do when we were kids. I think that every time we see each other we ...
Montpellier, Languedoc-Roussillon, France jdcabanel... BUT the info we got for the campsite was wrong and it was closed.. and the one next door too. So a rushed internet trip we found one, way out and got there just in time. France is full of red lights, roundabouts and pedestrian crossings!!!! Im SOOOOO over them all!!!!
Got to the campsite and there were no buses in town,. We were exhausted by then so fell into bed and decided to give up on that part of France and head to Lyon the next day...
... meaningless and only now, the present, was what mattered. Since I will be away for so long, it seems only natural that this would happen. I have never had such a perspective. I was so used to the idea of having a test in 3 weeks, a paper in 4 days, and your whole world is surrounded by constraints. I think that I will have a hard time readjusting to that aspect of life when I get back.
This trip has also given ...
... their way back home. Needless to say they were celebrating a win so it was a party on the train. I spoke lots of French, got free drinks and was even given free tickets to the next match by the manager, totally awesome. It was hilarious how retarded drunk French guys act around an American girl. Obviously they were mistaken because I am a smart and attentive American girl, making sure to watch my back and ...
Montpellier, Languedoc-Roussillon, France amberbogie... to allow rain in Italy to clear. Want to re-visit Lake Garda, see if we can't get the spot right next to the lake we last had some 15 years ago, say. Don't know if it's a good idea to go back to the site of happy memories: can you improve on them in any way, or only spoil their rosy glow?
All well with rig, thankfully - you hardly know it's there!
... bookstore she had seen earlier in the day, had some hot cider, and browsed the collection for a while before finding the Italian restaurant/pizzeria we saw the night before. It wasn't bad, but I was a little disappointed all-around, with both the pizza and the pasta. Anyway, seeing as it was cold and we hadn't really slept well, we decided to call it a night and go back to base. The next morning, I scarfed down the basically frozen remains of the pizza, which had ...
Montpellier, France jmdevine... perfection, we would have became coffee maker ! (cafeteras, in spanish) One day a voice pick me up. Vincenzo took me and he introduced me to Laia. It was great travelling all around europe. He brought me to Dublin, then to Montpellier, I really had a great time, but after a while such a comments like: what a great coffee didn't give me any satisfactions. I needed to travel. They had shown me part of the world, but I wanted more. That's why I left Cafetera
