When Elaine and David returned we went to our respective rooms (we have adjoining staterooms on the tenth deck) and prepared ourselves for the Malaga Marathon. The tour lasted two hours (about 1 hour and 45 minutes too long!). After we were done our mandatory sentence with Mr. I State - we were freed, released on furlough and able to explore the tower on our own. That was much more enjoyable.

We didn't know this was the time of year students were taken on tour because of the heat of the summer. Next we went to the 'Cathedral'. It was started by the Visigoths and was destroyed by the invasion of the Moors to make way for their Mosque. The Mosque was added to by Abd-ar-Rahman. It was made ...

We found a nice camping at Almayate around 2 pm, got ourselves organized and had some lunch. We had a drink at the camping café/restaurant first and than went to check out the beach. We stayed there for the afternoon until 6 and then got ready for our paella that we ordered at 7 pm. It was pretty good and we enjoyed it sitting on the terrace till late. We had phoned Nico and Riet, friends of my mother to see if they wanted to meet us tomorrow in ...
