Nice & Monaco

A travel blog entry by bels_adventure on Sep 12, 2014

Was up brightish and earlyish for a walk to the beach on nice this morning - I spent a bit of time trying to figure out what was so weird about this beach compared to back home (other than the rock beach factor). And I figured it out - there's no waves yet no island off shore to be making it a flat beach like back home. And there's no life guards. With the tail between my legs, I walked 15 minutes to another hostel and luckily got the last bed for the night. I guess things always work out, or at least I’m lucky enough that it does for me. With it being a Tuesday night and most places shutting down, we walked around the Old Town for a while, had a meal, dipped our toes in the water and went back to our respective hostels ...

Head shoulders NICE and toes

A travel blog entry by henleylads on Jul 26, 2013

... a path that hugged the shore for ten minutes, up and down hundreds of steps, and came across a small but picturesque beach. It wasn't long till were all in the sea cooling off and relaxing. The clear blue water, not a cloud in the sky, it couldn't have been more perfect. It wasn't until we decided to leave the water that things changed, all of a sudden Henry unwittingly unleashed a string of less than pleasant curses, in the middle of the children's area. We all turned around ...
