... I walked her back to her hostel during which time I got hiccups. As we walked and talked, occasionally an extremely loud hic would escape my mouth, and all the people walking in the opposite direction would stare at me. I tried holding my breath, but I just kept embarrassing myself over and over again! It wasn't until I got back to my own hostel that they finally went away and I was able to finish this blog without distracting everyone here watching the World Cup on ...

... and fell in love with its detailed stitchery and half-moon, hemline cutouts. I saved it for Sunday when I knew we'd be going to an art show among many well-dressed French women. ... not work.. But it is Nice.. So it's all good. We were minutes from the French Riviera. We went out to dinner in the evening and had the 'Topdeck cocktail' and another French dish. It was pretty solid! After dinner we headed to 'Wayne's bar'. Most packed bar ever! Live band too! I'm wishing I had a guitar right now. It's hitting me hard!
