I spent the day "talking" to people who spoke no English. Lots of notes were written and I got two invitation for party. On for the next day at 2:00pm and one on the 18.03.14 at 08:00.

So we left Mancora on the first of our 17 hour buses. Cruz del Sur were a bit more expensive than the others but everyone we spoke to said they were renowned for being the best for safety, comfort, food etc.

It cost us about 120 soles to get to Lima on semi cama and it was easy to sleep since the road was quite straight. Once we arrived in Lima we had no intention of hanging around. Even with the prospect of another 4 hours on the bus we decided it was best to get ...
