... suggestion was perfect, I had a tasty beef casserole, he had a burger and we shared our stories over a couple of drinks. I ran in to Lisa, the German girl from the sea lion trip the day before. It was her birthday, she was celebrating with a few friends she'd made along the way.

What a great day I'd had. I recommend a stopover at Huacachina and dune buggying over the dunes.

So I finally left Cusco, and on route to Lima, stopped over in Huacachina for a couple of nights. I'd caught the flu and thought some sun and heat would help me out. The coast of Peru is totally different to the Andes or the jungle. It's like a barren desert, and to tell you the truth, most of it isn't well utilised or attractive. ... Lunahuana Saturday night and arrived planning to figure things out, well, without a plan.
