Jan again - We woke up this morning to find that there is a 2 hour delay for school. Apparently northern parts of the county had a bit more ice than we did. Since we were planning to pick Piper up early from school anyway, we decided not to send her at all. She wouldn't be there long enough to be counted present. ... their guest room just down the road many many times over the years and it was really nice they could visit us. Annette got to brush up on her Bridge skills with a very understanding partner ( not me ). We enjoyed beach walks, mini putt, the Tiny Martini, St. George St., nice dinners out and in, and a couple of Fort tours. After a restful night, we got up and went back to Jaybirds for breakfast. We came back to the room to load the car and checkout of the hotel. We parked the car across the street and walked to the fort in old town. Turns out that this fort is part of the national parks device so Don could use his park pass to get is in.
