I have a sleeping bug! It is so quiet and like a batcave in our bedroom, and with winter here, it is a struggle to get up at 8.30 hence, we were late to join my old classmates at AF for their last day of school for the year. We got there at about 1000 to see the end of a French movie and then to have a feast of everyone's home favourite, even down to the scotch and beer, Laurie had it all and we left at 1200. It was lovely, we were made most welcome. ...

We walked up to the boulangerie to buy 2 chocolate croissants and a small baguette which cost us €2.98 all up. We ate ...

A bit later start than I hoped after a late night, but making the most of our museum passes. Started with Hotel Invalides -Musee de l'Armee. A very large and impressive military museum from medieval times through World War II. So interesting to see the French perspective. Next we visited Musee Rodin, solely devoted to Rodin's works - many fabulous sculptures and beautiful gardens, as well as small paintings. Late lunch at Minim's. Then to Musee de L'Orangerie. ...
