I don't really mind waking up when I hear the family in the morning, as long as it's not yelling and scares me away. This morning, I woke up and got to spend a lovely thirty minutes in my bed before getting up at 9am. That's the life!

I didn't get toothpaste on myself this morning, so my day started out better than yesterday. I did get water all over on the floor during my shower. It's like I can't have it turned on at full power or it gets ...

When we regrouped, we got our bikes and headed off to a park to eat our picnics. Honie and I had gotten roasted chicken, nectarines, a small bottle of white wine, brie, and a baguette. Super yummy. Today was our full day of Versailles! There were seven of us on our tour with a lovely Parisian named Laura. It was about an hour drive(with traffic). In the morning we toured the main palace, including the original hunting lodge portion, and some of the gardens. The Hall of Mirrors was amazing, but so was the whole palace! So much opulence!! We had a lovely lunch near ...

... Horse and got to see a 30 minute display on French of dressage with two stallions, a Friesians and a Lippizaner or perhaps a warmblood, cit was really good - despite not being able to understand a word..... A highlight was the location were we had lunch at the "lake of the Castle of the White Queen", an enchanting place with and old mill house, a tiny castle and a beautiful lake. We were able to have out lunch at the cafe chairs so long as we bought a ...

        Day 16 Paris

Another day in Paris. Enjoyed a morning walk then onto the bus for a trip to Garnier opera house and back to Notre Dame to walk the historic district. Amazing to think this was built 2300 hundred years ago. Paris has more than 500 parks and gardens scattered around the city. It really makes a difference in the feel of the city they understand the importance of taking time to relax. Amazing to see so many spaces with people just sitting and ...
