We are now on board a 26 hour ferry to Athens. It is a very big ship but there is less to do on it than the Interislander. We have just been chilling out in our rooms and playing Uno up on deck with some others from our group. We aren't due to dock until 2pm tomorrow so it's going to be a ...

Unfortunately the local police had closed the road for a car race. We used ...

He also knew how we could get to our destination (hint: in the opposite direction). On the way to town, we found a cheese wonderland with aged cheeses, spiced cheeses and barrels of fresh bufala mozzarella. The later of which became our lunch. Things tend to work out. Thank you ...

Chieuti, Italy

A travel blog entry by margaretreilly on Apr 26, 2014

Barb and Grant,s friend Federico invited us to his village, Chieuti, to watch the annual ox race named the Palio di San Giorgo. Chieuta is a village on the east coast at about the same level as Rome. It took about 4 hours' drive from Marina di Camerota through some wonderful countryside. Federico and Anna Marie (his wife) made us ...
