Great rooms, clean, helpful reception. It is great to have a balcony and be able to sit outside in this beautiful Italian weather. the air conditioning is a little cool and location requires a 5 minute bus into Centro but otherwise it's a great experience. Breakfast outstanding.

Last night for dinner we went back to the same restaurant. The food was even better although it is certainly more expensive. The ambience is also great. I loved my scallops – very tender and delicious. This morning after breakfast we left this sweet accommodation and mainly spent the day driving back to …

Alas, if the story of the Capuletis' and the Montecchi' had not been retold by William Shakespeare, the world would never have known the romantic tale of Romeo and Juliet! Monday we took a magnificent road trip into the "Little Dolomites", a mere 30 kilometers from the city. We made a brief stop at Montorio Castle (medieval look-out post) before heading into the cold and snow, the Austrian influence of the area unmistakeable in the ...

This areas is quite commercialised, there are theme parks, aqua parks, animal parks, and aquariums, also campsite after campsite on the lakeside. After passing through a few of these places we found a Sosta on the lake side, the sun had just set and everywhere across the lake had a pinkish hue to it. We ...

This morning we visited casa di capuleti or Juliet's house as we know it. This is where the movie letters to Juliet was filmed one of my favourite movies!! It also brought back many memories of when I played the leading role in the school play. We also visited her tomb and were closely followed by the security lady presumably to check we didn't write on the walls as so many people had done ...
