Great rooms, clean, helpful reception. It is great to have a balcony and be able to sit outside in this beautiful Italian weather. the air conditioning is a little cool and location requires a 5 minute bus into Centro but otherwise it's a great experience. Breakfast outstanding.

Last night for dinner we went back to the same restaurant. The food was even better although it is certainly more expensive. The ambience is also great. I loved my scallops – very tender and delicious. This morning after breakfast we left this sweet accommodation and mainly spent the day driving back to …

After a quick use of emergency 3G she was armed with a map and a rough route of Verona and was ready to take us to see the main sites. Of course we saw Juliet's balcony, also the arena where lots of opera shows are going on throughout the summer, another bridge with pretty ...

... to be different and pick the exotic ham sandwich. To stick in budget we declined drinks and stuck to the warm water from our water-bottles. By the time we'd finished lunch Emma's sun cravings were in full drive. We found a place on the grass which had a tree for shade and a perfect spot big enough for Emma to bask in the sun. Later on we (except Lucy) went for a swim in the lake. A treacherous journey, as the lake took ages to get deep enough to swim. ...

Finding our hostel was easy using the signs they have usefully placed directing us to there. Wish every hostel was that easy to find. Still enough time to get very hot though. We went straight to the lake. Pretty but not quite lake bled style. We are in the tourist resort area, but we didn't ...

... the origin of the masons. On a sidewalk built by the masons you could see cut into one square the shape of two eyes. A sign that there was a Masonic temple there below ground. The guide mentioned the line of history of the masons even in the one dollar bill of the US. I was able to pull out a one dollar bill. My contribution to the Italian speaking group. Look at the top of the pyramid on the dollar bill and see a ...
