... late on the first night, so went with Leah's parents to a bar overlooking the beach. Was so picturesque, and we watched the sun set over the buildings. Day 1 = beach. And we sunned it up straight away. By the evening we were solidly burned, my feet got hit bad and Leah got a nasty burn on her face. But we didn't care, it was so nice to just sit and sun it up!! Leah and me cooked up a storm (well, a buffet of random stuff!) and all in all was a ...

Went to seaside today, very fun area with quaint shops, food trucks and beach access. Found a heck of a deal for a kids sand shovel, only $28. Had great lunch at crab shack, really yummy food! ... a salad and a bean quinoa salad I think. Dessert was a chocolate cookie and more brownies!! The owners walked us down to the boat dock and said goodbyes. It was really sad leaving La Loma. I LOVE that place. Maybe I'll volunteer there in the future. We rode a water taxi over to Palmar tent lodge. I had high hopes for Palmar but sad to say it disappointed us.
We checked in and was shown to our tent. It was cute! We soon realized though that it ...

... our next accommodation is a tent lodge on the beach. They call it "glamping". Should be amazing beaches where we can snorkel and its the right time of the year for the turtles to lay their eggs in the sand! I highly recommend La Loma to anyone considering coming to Panama. The owners are incredibly nice and helpful and the area is gorgeous! Tomorrow they might take us out to a point on another island to do some fishing and snorkeling. I'll be sure to let you know how it goes!
