... tour and we're heading to Alausi that day, Alausi being about fifty kilometres south of Ambato.
Within a few minutes most of the locals struck lucky with the first buss to pass then, twenty minutes or so later it was Brian and his wife' s turn but we had to wait a further ten minutes for a bus going to Ambato. As the bus was pretty full already we were relegated to the back seats with only a small gap in the company's logo on the window to peer through.

You walk through an enormous crack in the mountain that is the vaginal canal. And at the end is a magnificent stone altar. On the ceiling is a whole. The sunlight pours through there on the summer Equinox. I didn't realize at high noon the light came through on other days but on that day where magic was present it came pouring ...

The community has been focusing on gender equality and education in recent times which was great to hear about from our local guide. We tipped the community which goes towards providing education for the younger generation. We caught the canoe back ...
