We were up early and threw down a bit of the included
breakfast before bolting to the bus station. We just made the earlier 7:30 bus
to Alausi which was 2 hours away. We were on the last seats on the bus which
were in the back seat. The ride wasn’t too bad and we arrived early enough in
the town to wander the main street, check out the ...

... Banos is a tourist town. It is extremely popular with world travelers but it's bread and butter is Ecuadorian tourists. The town sits in the shadow of the volcano Tungurahua. The town is known for its hot springs and outdoor activities like mountain biking, hiking, zip lining, canyoning, rock climbing, and other touristy things. Till now I have born only the non-living
My flesh multiplied in the immensity of the darkness
    Has not even begat me.
Make me blaze out, you who are in me
    O primordial element of Nature,
    Inviolable centre of things
    Absolute void of fullness
