On to the Loire
... hard to see why if possible many people use the motorways - they have restaurants and loos as well.
I headed out across the plain of Versaille in country very much like to the north of Paris up in the area where our soldiers fought in WWI. Flat slightly undulating fertile farmlands, all ploughed up waiting for the next crop, littered with little chunks of white rock. It is quite beautiful and I can just imagine how many serfs were needed to farm the amount of land now handles ...
One of the best days of the week.
We started off by exploring the chateau. It was COLD! But so beautiful. We meandered along the Loire through several towns, stopping to get bread and snacks.
And by early afternoon, we arrived at Les Rairies to meet our friends and park up for two nights.
A proper shower and loo! Does this become an obsession with all motorhomers?
