After a 9.5 hour flight to Frankfurt, a long bus ride at the airport to the next plane, and a short 50 minute flight, we are in Geneva. Figured out how to take a bus to the hotel, overpaid, arrived and finally got our room. Slight problem with our reservation - they had us down for 2 people only. Kids will have to sleep outside in the rain ;-) --- Went downtown and joined a festival... Walked around, ate drank, got wet, and enjoyed the fireworks... Everyone is beat... Off to ...
... This is very rural and they have small little villages, nothing too big. We got to the village and had to pay two euros to park, I guess they aren't that medieval if they heard of parking fees. This was right on Lake Geneva but a good 45 minutes from the city of Geneva. It was a nice village with a real nice garden. Jessica checked it out and it was cool.
