    ... and I checked out the retail area and then joined Bensons at the RM Auction assembly area where we could hear the auctioneer and see the cars enter and exit the ballroom. We heard a bid for $6 million here for a Delahaye – just mind boggling! We decided Fernandina Beach was a better bet for an interesting dinner and found Kelly’s Café. We ate inside as when the sun went down it was chilly again.

    ... with thunder and lightning. 10 miles further, nothing anymore, dry road, funny. Arriving here, after having picked up a hamburger at Jack's, I could only be relieved, my back was happy to sit normally again!

    Today, before leaving for the airport, Mark came to give me another massage! Now my shoulders really are back to normal! That was so good!

    However my flight was canceled because of the storm in New York! ...

    ... 4 months and the heavy rain at the airport certainly added to the depressing mood. At least I took comfort in the fact that it was only for a few days before I fly over to join her there and a new era in my life starts in a foreign country. I'm not sure what my plans are for the final 4 days here, but I don't think I will be do much adventuring; probably more preparation than anything else.

    ... change, but end up near the beach, but separated from it by a waterway and a lot of private properties with no-trespassing signs. We accost a high-speed granny on roller blades, who screeches to a stop, and gives us directions. Get a photo of her on her return trip. Quite a sight.
