We docked at La Spezia today, gateway to Florence, Pisa and Cinque Terra (5 seaside villages). After almost three weeks traveling and sightseeing we decided today will very a rest day. We had previously intended to go yo Cinque a Terra on this day on one of the ships tours but decided today we will rest poolside. I got up early and watch the tour buses fill with a number of tours. ... It was supposed to be about a 2 hour home but we did it in one. Once we got to vernazza we stopped at a restaurant called blue marlin and I got some pizza! At vernazza we hopped on a train back to monterosso because the people who planned out trip didn't realize we wanted to hike so they didn't think we'd be in vernazza. since I posted last, much has happened.
I Picked up a game in Füssen germany, with the +45 swiss select,.. not only a good bunch but some excellent hockey players as well. I tried my best to keep up.
