... closed since the really bad landslides in 2011 so we weren't in a position to do much walking anyway. Much to Joelene's disappointment our only alternative was to find a bakery / bar overlooking to Mediterranean and have some pastry treats :-). ... own way so that's my own judgement. It was starting to get dark and Mary and I were both very tired, it was time to call it a day. ... The owner had TONS of gluten-free goodies. And even though we didn't get to try it, he makes fresh GF pasta; you just have to order it from him a day ahead of time. What a day! We left Lake Como early making our way south to Cinque Terre via Milan where we were scheduled to stop for a guided walking tour of the city followed by lunch.
