... was bigger than the middle three with a bustling main street.

The natural and man made scenery on todays walk was magic. These little town are unique and apart from the hordes of tourists look like they haven't changed for hundreds of years. A good day despite the crowds and heat.

Two trains later we were back in Pisa eating at our favourite little square.

... who were on their second or third of the day, between villages, sharing how this was the 'easy one' (show offs!), a bunch of Japanese early twenties, dressed in knee high leather boots, gabbering in native Nippon (apart from two, who were rendered so speechless, it was evident they had either followed the wrong tour or believed the website tripe of 'a spring stroll through the grapevines' to alluring centuries old storybook villages.....yada yada yada.... ...

Yesterday was our longest day of land travel so far. It began when the alarm rang at 6am. Having packed the night before, we downed a quick breakfast and left our apartment an hour later to walk to the Sorrento Circumvesuviana Train Station to catch the slow (35 stations) train to Naples arriving there over an hour later. ... fingers. Apparently the 3 middle fingers is equivalent flipping the birdie! At least I think that's what he meant. None the less I have not done that since. For dinner we visited a lovely very authentic restaurant called inferno! Aka hell!
