Stopped here for the night, couldn't make Monaco.
The town is called Cuneo, it's got a lovely main piazza with bars and restaurants all round.
Is a bit out of the way, and I think is a base camp for skiing in the winter.
The B&B was great value, absolutely spotless room, with underground parking, worth a call if you're in that area.

The countryside is not as neat and manicured as rural areas in France that we were travelling through at the beginning of our trip. We hit the Italian Coast at the bay before Noli and started looking for ...

    Back to Milano

... when we went to board the train for Milano. One minute the doors were open and the next second they closed. Thought we had missed the train but it was just a control check. Annalia's sister Sandra has again offered her home to me. Many thanks to her for her hospitality. And tomorrow early I will leave for ...

... and all sorts of art work as well as family photos. But the view from the balcony was breathtaking. Everything she served for lunch was made by her and really delicious, especially the chicken dish(butter, lemon, capers, oregano, and bay leaves from her garden). And a last visit to Forio for ice cream, straciatella my favorite very similar to chocolate chip ice ...
