... BARBARESCO WINE RELEASE FESTIVAL!!! Holy cow, how do you beat that?
We walked to the lovely Tratorra for lunch and then spent the rest of the day and evening at the festival followed by dinner at one of the 3 restaurants in town where we were waited on by the owner and his chef wife.
No way you beat that for the first day of a vacation, at least not for me and Nancy.

We find ourselves in the Piemonte Region, excited to learn more about the local wines from the region: Dolcetto d' Alba, Nebbiolo, Barbera d'Alba, Barbaresco and Barolos.... we've had three wonderful stops in the region and have had intimate tastings with the wine makers at two... what a treat to sit down with the owners at their tasting tables, over-looking the hills of nebbiolo vines with 6, 8,.. 10 bottles of their latest ...
