Drive to Pitigliano (2hrs), explore town…remember in smaller towns the shops and everything will close down between 1pm - at least 4pm (for lunch then sleepy time!) some restuarants will remain open until 2/2:30pm…and dinner starts around 7pm usually..

We toasted the birthday boy "Chin chin" with Proscetto and drank red wine with our meal. Some had a Venezuelan rum (neat) to finish off with. It was a very pleasant evening and the family made me feel very welcome. Grazie mille.
