    ... road sense. The GPS took us all the way to the Europcar drop off that was very close waking distance to the terminal. There were some small dings on the back courtesy of the person who nudged the back of me at high speed and sped off without stopping; lucky I took out insurance to cover any damage. We have done so much driving in narrow streets not designed for cars that in hindsight I should not be surprised that I would not get away ...

    ... that was no surprise. Lovely speeches, huge and many food courses and very nice wine. The cellars had three levels, with the basement having roman bases and carvings. On the middle cellar level there was also the customary table set for Romeo and Juliet in case they called in. Got back to our digs at a reasonable time and so we all scoured our rooms for whatever drinks we had and ended the night in very happy spirits.     ... tickets for Verona the next day. Went back to the hotel for Internet access and to change the car hire to enable us to drive from Verona to Milan Airport. It works out that the extra cost of a different return location is cheaper than the train tickets for two. Then went along to the Biennale.     ... br> We head out to the countryside to visit Tenuta Decugnano Dei Barbi for our wine tasting. We climb some hills and are treated to a very gorgeous view of Orvieto.
