Out last destination-Lima. We came back to the city to fly home but wanted a few days to explore. The city is good. The best place to see this architecture is in the Plaza de Armas, containing the original Palacio de Gobierno and a 375 year old bronze fountain. There are also many museums, galleries and churches to explore in this area. Another good place to visit is Miraflores, part of the social centre of Lima. ... 12,000 feet above sea level, I suppose we just might be.

There are incredible views of the mountains as we get closer to Cusco. Beautiful, tall, snow-capped mountains surrounded by smaller hill-type mountains, will periodic small towns dropped in various valleys. Stunning. I took a bunch of pictures, but they'll need some serious clean up as they are through the airplane window.

After the light show we went back to the cat park and I found my orange kitten again and just sat down with him and he cuddled and slept on me. I did not want to leave!
