Not typically my first thing to do, but we HAD to go shopping. Seems the airline didn't want to load all our luggage, our friend Fran got hers, but Leslie and Rene's ... The cute matching Tumi suitcases didn't show up. Filled out the paper work, gave them a contact cell number ... Fast on texts messages to let you know they are looking for it. But ... Four hours ...

After hour on beach, made way back to the inn, walked to the 7 eleven for some coronas & then dinner at chick filis. More like S.... filis. Yuk !

This is where you will find all the designer shops and upscale eateries as well as local bars etc. The street looks amazing with Palm trees down both sides. It has a great relaxed atmosphere, probably because it is narrow, which gives it a real homely feel. We looked in several shops had a drink in the The Old Kings Road ...

But handily we were early enough to leave before the mad man went on a shooting spree in the area killing quite a few people! 25 days left and I have to come back to Quebec. Wow! I cannot believe that I have been in California for 5 weeks already. Time goes by really fast now that I am used to being by myself. I have to admit that I don't really want to leave this city. Who would have believed that from the start? Not me.
