... also a cable car/trolley that runs around the beach district and the Old Town centre shopping district. This is a bargain at only 50cents per passenger (Chloe was free) and saved our aching feet.
A wonderful relaxing day and well worth vising Santa Barbara with something for the whole family to enjoy.

Instead of camping as we were planning on doing we ended up going to a local bar with Geyser in his tiny village of Occidental. ... shopping plaza, it had a great atmosphere but I felt it had a Disney feel to it. On day 3 we picked up our rental and then drove to Las Vegas. It took a little while for all of us to get used to driving on the right hand side but after a week we are pro's (maybe) with the occasional 'Oh **** I'm on the wrong side! moments.
