Then after we are suitable relaxed, suntanned and hydrated we fly down to to Southern Queensland to the incredible City of Surfers Paradise. ... sea and land- a molcajete bowl (a stone bowl) that comes filled with ingredients and sizzles with flavor- and Jeremy ordered the pork shank- a Fred Flintstone sized meat shank covered in a mole/tomato sauce that was rich and flavorful. It was one of those meals where you keep saying "I am full, I need to stop eating", but the food is so good that you keep taking bites because it is just that good. I will definitely go back ...
Must say they are cute little devils. This one was eating a flower near the parking station. They are so lovely.
Ken dropped me downtown to shop by myself for a couple of hours. I went to macys which was great. Similar to myer but cheaper. Then went to a little store and grabbed some lollies for some people. Met Ken and we had a burrito each for lunch, very yummy. Of course far too much food. We could have shared.

We then ventured down Highway 1 which has spectacular views and sea wildlife to boot, we spotted some whales out at sea and followed them down the coast for a while down through Big Sur we were hoping to see a sunset over the ocean, unfortunately the cloud moved in about an hour before sunset.
Arriving at Santa Barbara it was late and dark so did not get to see much, tomorrow it is of to ...
