    ... which we didn’t actually want. The evening was lovely and the restaurant gradually became full. Italians certainly go out to dinner later. After this Toni drove around and showed us the city centros for Circello and Castelpagano – both very pretty, well lit and clean – lovely piazzas and so on. All is great WE JUST DON’T WANT TO EAT ANY MORE!

    ... to relocate the hives for the future. Friday morning also brought a visit to the Wolf Museum in Civitella Alfedena (the village we were staying in), as well as the Wolf Sanctuary, and all the kids favorite - souvenir shopping!     ... cheese, other ate milky fior di latte mazzarella balls. The meal ended with chilled glasses of Fernet and cups of gelato, and bellies too full to move. It was delicious and rowdy and entertaining and heart-warming, and I wish I knew more Italian and never wanted it to end and I really couldn't eat another bite. Don't tell anyone, but I even snuck some of my mozzarella balls back to the apartment in my purse, rolled in a napkin!

    ... time to the blessed water source on the complete opposite end of the Biferno, and past, towards the neighboring town of Maiella. This is where the factory for Torrone del Molise is located. We had their torrone up on Civita, and it's delicious. We've noticed the signs pointing the way on the far side of town, and followed them to see if we could find the factory - and we did!

    ... preparation less of an ordeal. We fill a bag with replacement lightbulbs to brighten up the dark hallways. We get a dustpan to gather the crumbs, and a plastic tablecloth to make dinner clean-up easier.

    I also hit the bank for more cash, which will come in handy once we arrive in Rome. We also check out the travel agent, looking for information on getting to Sepino. ...
