Where do I start?? A lot has happened since I last wrote in our blog. So, I will try to keep it
    short.

I have been waiting 6-months for my U.S. insurance to
respond to a request for approval to pay for my lower back surgery in Mexico.
We have not received an answer, so, I am still having problems with my lumbar
discs and we are still looking for some results.

This month marks our second year anniversary of our first ever, long-term and long-distance RV
journey. It was two years ago that we sold just about all of our belongings and left our home state of Florida, in our very first recreational vehicle. We had never really been camping, ...

    Jocotepec to Chapala

January is ending and we have been in Ajijic for 2 months - halfway through our time in Mexico. Every day the sun shines and interesting things to see and do are always just around the corner.

Lake Chapala is the largest freshwater lake in Mexico. It is about 80 km long and 12 km wide and is quite shallow - 10 m deep at its deepest point. Part of the lake is in the state of Michoacan, where we lived 12 years ago, and the other part of the lake is in ...
