Wine on the rocks

A travel blog entry by nathanandclare

... wine, and I have taste buds, so jobs a good'un in my eyes, and we were told it was a longish transfer but we would have stops on the way so it's not such a big deal. We got picked up in a nice minibus and started the journey and the bugger stopped every 15 minutes to show us some rocks, whilst driving through a mountain range, which we could see from the bus, while it was too hot to stay outside for long, and I wanted to try some wine!! Riding with the cowboys

A travel blog entry by abiandkayleigh

Wondering what on earth we were going to do, ...

A travel blog entry by dgsutherland

... last time as he informed us that he will be going home earlier. Dave and I caught a 10 hour night bus from La Paz to Uyuni. We had opted to save about 100 Bolivianos (about $20) and take the 'local' bus as opposed to the 'tourist' one. Bad idea. The local one didn't have a toilet onboard so instead we had to make do when the bus stopped for a break at 3am. Also it was a pretty rickety old thing and when we hit the gravel roads at about 4:30am our heads were constantly vibrating. Despite ...
