Today's tour was to Bolzano, close to the Austrian border. We arrived there late in the morning, stopping for a quick espresso at a truck stop - it's hard to get used to doing things the Italian Way when you have to pay for what you want first, then go and join the queue to get served! So simply getting a coffee takes quite a while, especially when the Italians are prone to barging in front of anyone! Bolzano is nestled in ...

    And so I did!
Wow! The amount of **** that one accumulates, (especially a bower-bird like me who likes to have some stuff along "just in case") ....
Also found some serious evidence of some little furry squeaky things that had built a big nest and obviously wished to buy the joint since they left a ...

... for windsurfing, sailing and many other water sports and being late on a Sunday arvo they were all on the move! The views of the steep mountain crags and the glimpses of blue/green lake water got us very excited for the days ahead! As the coach pulled into the waterfront area near to our hotels there was a bit of a moment as Sally announced that half of us had been moved across the piazza to another ...
