        ... 8220;OH MY GOD THAT’S SPICY” and was shouting various expletives and asked me in a sputtering, choking voice if I had put anything unusual in her fridge. We simultaneously realized that she had just eaten and entire habanero, and while she was guzzling down glasses of water, swearing and sweating, I was laughing so hard that my eyes were watering!! Word of warning: if I ever stay at your house and there are orange peppers in your fridge, sweet or otherwise, proceed ...

        ... job of keeping the sun out of the house. It wasn’t quite as warm today as it has been, but it’s really humid so between the thick air and the thick dust, we’re not breathing well.

        The show bought iPads for Elisa and I to use at the front gate to scan in the online tickets. Seems like a lot of technology to simply scan tickets (and maybe it is), but for large crowds, it’s amazing to have. The scanner works ...

        ... the closest dumping station was. Once again, we’re on a lot just long enough that our holding tanks can’t handle it, so thankfully we had a straight shot off the lot and took advantage of it. Emilie came with us because we were also stopping by an HEB (grocery store) for money orders to pay some very overdue bills (if you’re reading this and we owe you money, I promise; it’s COMING!).

        When we got back, we ran by the cookhouse for breakfast ...

        ... to the laundromat across the highway from us. As far as laundromats go, this one looked fairly promising but quickly proved itself to be annoying. Washers wouldn't start, door handles wouldn’t lock, a dryer wouldn’t accept quarters and two washers didn’t do their spin cycle so our clothing came out dripping, sopping wet. Sigh.

        At least there was a 100 ft. wide television in there to ...
