... not last long. We didn't even need to turn the wipers on, as they came on automatically. Many people overtook us but Brad was going about 110kph on the tollway. The speed limit here is 130kph.

We arrived at Sal and David's home just before 2pm. They live in a very small village, or cluster of houses really. In fact there are 9 houses sort of clustered together. Their home is delightful, filled with character and parts of it date from the 1400's. ...

... was a fun experience and quite frankly, an easy process. We then prepared various flavours of herbs, chillies, garlic and pepper and each made a small pot of preferred flavour to eat with bagels within the week.

Before dinner I would often try out Janes home made aperitifs, made with wine and odivy and flavoured with fruit and walnuts. Matt and I would play cards; some new games Steve and Jane had taught us and ofcourse, "********". ...

So my first experience of using blablacar was pretty good. The girl picked us up on time, she was with a guy who I'm guessing they knew each other and he helped us squeeze our bags in and we laid my guitar across us. The language barrier was quite apparent again but it didn't really matter. We sat in the back quietly, trying not to drift off. We were dropped off at the station, perfect timing for Steve, our next host, to pick us up. He was there when we arrived so no waiting around. ...
