... shop that was set up temporarily from the Milano Expo 2015 that ended in October. Inside were little bottles of Modena's Balsamic. I tasted several samples of the certified balsamic. It is aged at least 12 years and some bottles I sampled were aged 24 years! Oh my....sweet, intense---yum.

Of course it's time for food. ...

... feet. We sit. We order. We eat. We drink. We have some local wine and a snack. Don't worry. We have a full dinner later in the evening--tagliatelle al ragu, vino and chocolate salami for dessert! It's like a log of ganache or fudge with biscotti mixed in. When it's sliced it looks like salami--OMG!

... such a thing existed. I sent a text to my oldest son, and of course he was familiar with it (I should have known). I tried a small portion of the sparkling red, but decided to go with a “normal” red tonight.

The dinner arrived quickly, and I was pleased to finally be dining on “Bolognese” in the place it was invented! The portion wasn’t large, but it was surprisingly filling! The entire meal was wonderful, and I quite enjoyed ...

... one that told us about the buffets that many restaurants have. For the price of one drink, you can eat all you want between about 5 -7 pm. We did that one night at his recommended place and the food was great.

Bologna is not on the big tourist map, but that's part of the charm. If you're a foodie at all, then you have to give this place a visit. You won't lose any weight here, but you'll be damn happy you came.
