Started our trip in Sardinia with Alghero, a medium size city by the sea. The hotel where we stayed was nice and modern and we were lucky to get a room that was facing the sea. Nothing more beautiful than to watch the sea right from your bed.

An extremely good place that we found was San Francesco's Pizza. This small little Pizzeria we ate at everyday and the owner would make fresh Margarita Foccia Pizza every morning and cook it right in front of us when we arrived! The best tasting pizza in Alghero by far!
The last day we jumped on the tour bus and headed north along the incredible coast line to the cliffs leading down to the 65 million ...

Enough about food! I'm not a restaurant guide (but, I guess I could be! haha).
Nest stop - London. Tasks of the day: land safely, get home, get the luggage organised from the house, clean up, leave the keys to the owner, and go to Heathrow Airport!

... from Santa Maria di Galura; and generally following the coast. After buying some fresh fruit from a roadside stall, we take a short seaward detour to find the 'perfect’ lunch-time picnic spot. Such a venture is not always successful, but today it is: a small rocky outcrop giving us a perfect view-point over the clear glassy aqua-blue sea. And gently curving white-sand beaches nearby. We stop for coffee at the nearby fishing village ...
... lack of needing to make reservations for normally crowded locals.
Our sunset first meal w/ local raw seafood anitpasta and white white wine was very nice though the presentation was visually appealing, some of the items could have used a little more preperation. Though Raeann was open to trying the Mediterranean Ceviche (oil/garlic/lemon) the prawns ...
