ptit dej ds lhotel et je pars pour la ville da cote: corrientes a une demi heure de bus<br>je me balade, cest tres sympa, la ville de resistencia possedait pleins de statues et celles ci plein de fresques representt les aborigenes, ttes faisant allusion a leur culture, a leur histoire, a leurs racines...<br>tres sympa...<br>je me psoe acote du rio parana, il est enorme, en fait le rio vient du bresil ou il ya eu des pluies enormes ...

At 1.00am and still around 35 degres with only a mouthful of water left a truck pulled over and with the help of another truck driver behind we got the bike on the back of the semi-trailer. (I thought the photo below was funny - this bus had a huge graphic on the side that I think was intended to show really happy people jumping for joy, but it looks more like the bus is trying to mow down terrified pedistrians. After trying to cross the street in Argentina, I think the later interpretation is more appropriate!) .

Not a whole lot doing here but a nice place to break up the long hike to Iguazù. Basically this town has had some kind of artistic influence on it and for some reason has sculptures, (stone, metal and wood), lining its streets. Which was really cool but considering i'm not much of a sculpture lover, i proabbly didn't apprecate it as much as i could have. It was definately a site to see though. There is one other vibe i have picked up on in this town ...

Sorry for not updating in so long! Internet connection has been hard to come by. I spent a week up north near Corrientes in a reserve known as Esteros de Ibera. It's a huge wetlands (think Everglades) filled with wildlife. I was in heaven! Gathered there was a large team of Argentine biologists. ... il cane a malincuore mi ha cmq seguita e una volta tornati all'ingresso ci siamo salutati e io mi sono rimessa in marcia x il paese e x toprnare a resistencia. a metà cammino un trattore con a bordo 4 persone si è fermato x darmi un passaggio, prontamente accettato. in serata sono rientrata così a resistencia e alle 11.30 ho iniziato (con un'ora di ritardo) la mia seconda notte sul bus: destinazione cascate di iguazu!
