... in Columbia! It was really nice!! Thanks again!! We also did a tour of Medellin called the real city tour. This was really interesting and the guy was very open about how Medellin has gone from the most dangerous city in the world to one that's thriving. We learnt about the history, dodgy politicians, Pablo Escobar, growing up in the 80's and 90's, the good and the ...

This was decided for two reasons, firstly the walk would have been down a road for three hours, not that exciting, secondly it is quite an experience to see how the milkman operates in Guican and Cocuy. The gondolas rise, stretch and streetch up the valley hillside, one in the west, which flies over the pretty, if poor, suburb of Commune 13, known for its vibrant street art, the other ...

... was a problem with our card. Thankfully the other banks seem to have no problem with them. It was our intention to head out for a few drinks again tonight however our very early morning spoiled that one for us and we crashed pretty early. It was a lazy morning with French toast, bacon and banana for breakfast, eggs and bread supplied by the hostel (breakfast included but cook it yourself, a nice change). We spent the better part of the morning chatting to a Canadian guy we ...
