LaLaanta was a haven for us. After our airline lost our baggage, we were lucky to be staying in a place which cares so well for its guests. Thanks to Shicko and the staff for their help.
The resort itself is gorgeous - right on the beach with glorious sunsets at night. It never felt overrun with guests and we could always find beach lounges where we wanted, either y the pool or on the beach itself.
It's such a beautiful place, we hope to return one day.

Today we have mainly been getting wet. We were heading out on our day trip so got up early to get dressed and go for breakfast, which was toast and eggs again for me and straight toast for Nic - she doesn't mess about with her breakfasts, haha ;-) We'd just started eating when a pick-up pulled up and it was clearly our ride to the boat for our trip... They operate on such loose timescales here it's hard to know what time to actually turn up for something... The collection ...

... paying and the girl looked so distraught at the thought of turning back so we offered to pay for them. It was only about 80p so didn't really matter to us and we had done our good deed for the day. They were so grateful and in return we got them to take some photos of us at the top. The view was postcard perfect, a glorious view of the two main beaches and well worth the trek up. We decided to go down the other way which was much shorter and ...

... on the beach, whilst watching the sunset...we will never get tired of this! We arrived back at Clayzy House, just in time for open mic night! Having no intention to sing, we grabbed some drinks and were quite content to provide backing vocals for the evening... something went wrong between gin&juices 1 and 3 and we found ourselves on stage accompanied by a guitar! In our defence, song choices 1-3 were absolute classics and have been sung ...

Today we have decided to stop being quite so lazy and after breakfast we are going to walk the length of long beach. This decision has several motives behind it. We are seriously concerned that we are going to get sunbed sores if we don't move around a bit, we may be missing something seriously wonderful just around the corner, and most importantly Martin may be missing some serious t shirt retail opportunities. ...

... can only be described as....crazy! There were two main bars/clubs banging out the music and everyone was raving on the beach. Early on in the day we kept seeing people walking around with bandages in random places on their body and now we knew why....maniacs were jumping through rings of fire, doing limbo fire and fire skipping and literally catching themselves on fire....although we were all pretty drunk by now we were ...
