        ... cool hearing other SEC schools rooting for us. I’m not so sure that would have happened in the Big 12.

        After eating they gave us a tour of the town square, took fun pictures, and topped it off with frozen yogurt. Thanks so much Midge and Keith for showing us around!

        When we heard about the tornado in Tupelo a few weeks ago, I had called the hotel to see if they were open, and they said they were. But just barely! We were astonished as we arrived there - the tornado destruction was only a few blocks away. Terrible ...

        Because it was getting dark and there were no lights along the parkway, we ducked off at mile 203, drove through Starkville and headed to Rte 45 which would take us into Tupelo. A gift certificate was burning a hole in my wallet, so we used it at Outback for dinner. Not very original, but it was tasty. Our night's stay was at a Hampton Inn.

        - Not raining this morning but apparently it is too wet from last night to send up the balloons.
