Had a long day on
the back roads looking for Covered Bridges. Decided to give up for the night and head to our stopping destination of Indianapolis. We checked out where the Speedway was so we could find a hotel close. I never expected to be so close ...
So we didn't drive on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway but we did make it there today! We were going to go there yesterday but ended up getting to Indianapolis so late (plus we forgot the time zone changed again!) that we didn't make the trip on Monday. Instead we went swimming at our hotel and had a low key night.

Quaker city is a little All Vol station, highly worth the visit. Under funded (the larger engine was purchased as a write off and repaired in house) and full of loyal hard working people.
On some Great advice I left the Station on 265, which took me to the 40, for some of the nicest roads ...
