... it is always comforting to see those big black and white planes, the Koru on the tail and to hear the familiar sounds of the kiwi voices. And when stepping onto an Air New Zealand plane it almost feels as if you are already 'home'. ( of course the pleasant-ness of the trip was also perhaps largely due to the little blue pill taken shortly after take-off which greatly shortened the duration of the flight-sleeping pills people- nothing else!) Till next time ...

... Couldn't find an RV park or anything. I thought I found one an unfortunately I picked one with no bathroom or showers, 7Pines. Worse than Buffalo Trails in North Dakota. ... north 635 (LBJ freeway). No construction workers out today either!! So zoom zoom and we're in Dalhart Texas by 5:50pm. The only pain today was a 28mph cross wind all afternoon in northwest Texas. After the stay in the park. We stayed for rest in the hotel till midnight. It was very hot and to drive to Colorado is a very strong trip.

We drew around 6 or seven hours to Dalhart. The days here are very hot in the car. It was a good idea to drive over night. In Dalhart we took a cheap motel to sleep some hours.

We started the huge trip over the sunny dessert around 10 am and came to safe zone 5 hours ...
